Our epic London week-end
Par Pascale le samedi 20 décembre 2008, 01:08 - Lien permanent
Bright Christmas lights, large streets, grand architecture... Our week-end in London was all that.
& also wet feet, (nearly) deadly cold weather, & a shabby youth hostel.
London as we saw it last week-end was - as one would expect it this time of year - a veeery busy London. In spite of the horrible weather, people were running everywhere to get their Christmas presents.
The Phantom of the Opera musical met & even exceeded all our expectations. It really was magical...
I also got my very first Starbucks (haha), & finally a new hat, yay!
I was lucky not to have much money with me : the records stores would have been a nightmare for my poor little wallet.
Sorry for the random lines, I wanted to post about our week-end in London, but it turned out I didn't want to write everything down about it, so I'll let the pics I took speak for themselves.
Pascale.
P.S. I definitely failed with the Nablopomo... Bah...
P.P.S. Waah, I received my very first blog award this week!! Thanks to Profoundly Inarticulate. Doesn't it look beautiful in my sidebar?? Happy.

Great pics! Thanks for sharing!
Congrats for the blog award, methinks it's well deserved.
And yeah, epic week-end indeed. But you didn't mention your extremely fashionable temporary socks ? I'm shocked. Some might even say baffled or astonished.
@Profoundly Inarticulate : You're welcome! Thanks.
@Grungi : aw, thank you buddy!
But let's not talk about my "temporary socks" half made of plastic bags... Glad I had some very loose trousers on. hehe.
Hi Pascale ! I'm planning a city trip in London and I'm also trying to convince Yannick
Could you tell me where have you slept ? In an hotel ? Which one ? Where you satisfied with it ?
A lot of questions I know, but Yannick is very very very very difficult. Did I say that he was difficult ? ^^ And making a decision is really hard...
Just sent you an email!
